# Failed to upgrade to Peertube 8.0.1~ynh1

**What app is this about, and its version** : Peertube 5.2.1~ynh1  
**What YunoHost version are you running** : YunoHost 12.1.38  
**What type of hardware are you using** : VPS bought online

### Describe your issue

I check this post and used the same command, it doesn’t work.

Anyways, I have restore the backup, and my site is up again.

My last attempt to upgrade Peertube was unsuccessful. Here is the post( [YunoHost API is not responding & Could not complete the operation 'Upgrade the 'peertube' app'](https://forum.yunohost.org/t/yunohost-api-is-not-responding-could-not-complete-the-operation-upgrade-the-peertube-app/30598) ) and it was not resloved.

Would anyone please help me, I do want to upgrade my peertube if possible.

You apparently have two folders that shouldn’t coexist (…/videos and …/web-videos) since the script is supposed to rename the first one to the second :

`mv /home/yunohost.app/peertube/storage/videos /home/yunohost.app/peertube/storage/web-videos`

I don’t understand this command:  
`2026-01-06 06:02:39,967: WARNING - mv: cannot move '/home/yunohost.app/peertube/storage/videos' to '/home/yunohost.app/peertube/storage/web-videos/videos': Directory not empty`

has it been added?

That’s an upgrade from 5 to 8 😮
