**What app is this about, and its version** : Etherpad MyPads, 1.9.1~ynh3
**What YunoHost version are you running** : 12.1.39 (stable)
**What type of hardware are you using** : Old laptop or computer

### Describe your issue

After a reboot of my server a couple of days ago I noticed the Etherpad Mypads app is not working anymore. I get a “502 Bad Gateway” message in my browser, and checking starting the service via ssh seems to go fine, yet the status remains “failed”.

In the admin pane for this app:

- I posted the relevant part of the the log here.

That seems to point to a missing node. Weird… I had installed another app (or two) in the past week, so perhaps this is the cause, though I thought yunohost manages dependencies rather independently for each app..?
I also should say that I remember an app install to be very slow (or non-ending), so perhaps that’s the issue… (Though, I’ve had that in the past, without issues).

- And there is also this message:
“This application is currently flagged as broken on YunoHost’s application catalog. This may be a temporary issue while the maintainers attempt to fix the issue. In the meantime, upgrading this app is disabled.”

I had this in the past with another app, but then that app still worked, I just couldn’t update it.

😬
That’s a very old version.
Can you check the content of /opt/node\_n/n/versions/node

I just did that. I see:
10 12 14 16 18 18.20.8 20 20.19.4 20.19.5 22 22.21.0 22.21.1 22.22.3 22.23.0
So, no 14.21.3…
I guess it got removed when trying to install the other app (probably Appflowy - it has a non-working service listed while the app itself is not listed as installed) which didn’t complete the install…

Yes, this app has not been updated for 3 years.

You can reinstall node 14

```auto
N_PREFIX=/opt/node_n/ /usr/share/yunohost/helpers.v2.1.d/vendor/n/n install 14.21.3
```

or switch to the etherpad app if it fits your needs.

I guess this is appflowyweb ? You can remove it

```auto
yunohost service remove appflowyweb
```

Great thanks! That was the precise single-command I needed!

I see, I didn’t know about the “Etherpad” (without “My Pads”) app, which doesn’t feature plugins or mysql database, apparently. I can definitely consider that. I currently don’t (really) use the plugins.

Also the precise command I needed for that, thanks! Well, just a little typo: appflowy\_web 🙂

Still related, as it’s (probably?) the source of the issue: I wonder if it’s a good idea to re-try installing Appflowy web now… What would you recommend? And if not a good idea, should this be flagged more widely?

I don’t think the removal of node 14 was related to the installation of a _specific_ app using nodejs.

You can try reinstalling appflowy. Anyway, you know now how to reinstall node 14 if needed.
