# Deb.griffo.io repo will soon need a subscription

### Describe your issue
Hi,
I just ran an update and installed system package updates.
One of the updates was for yt-dlp.
I noticed a message in the output that says that a particular repo will require a subscription after 1 October 2026.
I believe this is the repo that is used for yt-dlp for Youtarr. This isn’t an issue with Youtarr itself but maybe we need to look at a different repo to download from? I have put the output from the update in the error messages section below.

Youtarr gets `yt-dlp` from Github release. Who references the package?

I am also checking with some other folks who have access to this machine to find out if this is something they have implemented.
In the meantime I will update the original post to strikeout Youtarr and if it is a repo that Archivebox ynh package uses I will add that to the tag.

Archivebox does use `yt-dlp` from main Debian repos, so it’s someone on site that must have added an additional repo I guess 🤷
