Configuring Hedgedoc from YunoHost

My YunoHost server

Hardware: Old laptop or computer
YunoHost version: 11.0.9
I have access to my server : Through SSH | through the webadmin | direct access via keyboard / screen
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no

If your request is related to an app, specify its name and version: Hedgedoc 1.9.6~ynh2

Description of my issue

After installing Hedgedoc, I can log in with my own user and start making notes. That’s perfect!

However, I’d like to

  • allow users to self-register
  • maybe allow anonymous users to create notes too.

Is there any option for that other than SSH’ing to the server and tweaking HedgeDoc’s config files directly? I don’t seem to see it, but I may be overlooking something.

Best regards and thanks for any response :slight_smile: I’m completely new to Yunohost, and I think it’s an awesome system.

Testing version allows through config panel to parameter this.

For now, you can add this to the config file /var/www/hedgedoc/config.json

"allowAnonymous": true,
"allowAnonymousEdits": true,

and restart Hedgedoc service

Thanks a lot! I’ll do that :slight_smile:

I can now confirm that this solved the problem and I now have my “Next” button.

Thanks again!
