Yunohost support several cool features to ease the installation of your server. UPnP is one of these features, but in some situation it doesn’t work. It could be cool if we know a bit how useful it is currently…
So i suggest a small poll to know if Upnp work for you:
- I host on a VPS or a server in a datacenter: no need of UPnP
- I host at home with a VPN: no need of UPnP
- I host at home with a complex setup (reverse proxy, several servers…): no need of UPnP
- I prefer to configure my router myself, so i did it : no need of UPnP
- I host at home and UPnP has configured my router. If i go in WebAdmin > Tools > Firewall > UPnP is activated .
- I host at home and UPnP has failed. I needed to change my router settings myself. If i go in WebAdmin > Tools > Firewall > UPnP is deactivated .
