Description of my issue
It’s been a year or so that I use borg to backup my server to a remote one, and all works great. A big thank you to all the people that made this possible
But today, I was checking the backups on the backup server, and noticed that for the last two month nothing has been backed up.
I think this is due to the fact that the size of the backup has passed the quota I set on the target server.
To solve this issue, I was wondering:
- is there a way I could exclude some directories from the borg backup? (I know I can exclude apps, but I would prefer for example not to exclude nextcloud, but just it’s contents. Does this make sense?),
- what could I do to get an alert when borg fails to perform the backup (for example yunohost sending an email to the admin).
