Dear god
OSError: [Errno 30] Read-only file system
Not sure what exactly is happening here … could be that your backup disk is mounted as read only … or could be something more subtle
No it’s not God which I try to back up that’s normal to me since I got a huge web shop, with all kinds of IT and ICT related stuff!
Noting is mounted because:
root@ecz-srv-01:~# mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt/backup
mount: /mnt/backup: special device /dev/sdb1 does not exist.
R.I.P. SSD I guess ?
IDK what happend to that drive but now it shows up as:
Disk /dev/sdc: 931.51 GiB, 1000204886016 bytes, 1953525168 sectors
Disk model: WDC WDS100T2G0A-
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disklabel type: dos
Disk identifier: 0x3947100b
Device Boot Start End Sectors Size Id Type
/dev/sdc1 2048 1953525167 1953523120 931.5G 83 Linux
root@ecz-srv-01:~#
Strange things are happening, when i mounted sdc1 this morning, after finding out that it has changed it showed me the boot stuff grub etc.
But now it seems to work again.
