Hello
Following the topic on the free/nonfree debate, I sensed concerns for the responsibility of YNH in the codes hosted in its repositories (yunohost-apps) and the apps that are referenced in the community list.
Example: should CouchPotao and SickRage appear in the community list, given their legality is doubtful? Yet they are community apps (I maintain them).
Perhaps we could use the GitHub API https://help.github.com/articles/searching-for-repositories/ to crawl for all repos that end in “_ynh” and have a manifest.json file. This way YNH would have a “community app search engine” for which we bear no responsibility. We just automatically reference everything, but everyone keeps responsibility for its own apps…
The question of the Yunohost-Apps platform remain though, as we clearly bear responsibility for the apps hosted on it.
What do you think?
