Attempted ssh login from YunoHost subnet?

Two days ago I changed to ssh port on my YH install to a random, unused port. I just saw that a few hours ago there was an attempted login from a 80.67.. ip in France on the new port (yunohost.org is on 80.67.172.144). As there were no other unauthorized attempts, it would seem that my custom port information was transmitted to YH.

Am I missing something? If YH collecting detailed install info somehow?

Thanks.

That’s probably the diagnosis checking that your ssh port is accessible from outside … the way it works is that your server sends a request to diagnosis.yunohost.org to check if relevant ports appear to be opened and something’s answering.

So somehow “yes” your port information was transmitted to a service on our infrastructure, by your server itself. But we don’t really log that info or whatever…

That makes sense, and: Thanks for the fast answer (and all the rest of the work)!
