Can you check that yunohost tools regen-conf mysql displays nothing ?

Also what does ls -l /etc/mysql/my.cnf return ?

Well I have no real clue what’s going on but searching mariadb killed ABRT on Gogle reveals that this is an issue experienced by many people accross the internet

so what would you suggest - shell i do a fresh install of the YH raspi Debian image and work with the backups i made?

Maybe, but I wouldn’t be that much surprised that the same error shows up on a fresh install, I dunno, it’s hard to tell without a better understanding of the error. (On the other hand, I guess there are many people around here running an RPi4 without this error so é_è)

today i tried things out

i deinstalled the app hubzilla and than mysqu was running more stable…

i tried to install an older backup of Hubzilla which took hours and was not successful
