Advice: VPS or server at home?

Hi! I decided to take the plunge and try to manage my own little server (nextcloud, moodle and gitea). All managed with yunohost :). We will use the server in 3. I have a strong doubt: install everything on a vps or buy a dedicated hardware to install it at home (I have a 1Gbit / s connection). The hardware I thought about buying is this: Intel NUC 10 (Intel Core i5-10210U, 8GB, 256GB, SSD) - Galaxus

Compared to your experience, which of the two solutions do you recommend?
I aim for a stable and secure system :slight_smile:
