"500" Internal Server Error

Hardware:
VPS on Hetzner
YunoHost version: 4.3.6.3 (stable)
I have access to my server : SSH
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no

Description of my issue

Dear Yunohosters,

Since the last 2 weeks I have an overall issue with the “System Update” of my Yunohost instance.
When navigating on the admin app and go to “System Update” I receive and ““500” Internal Server Error” with the following information (see below).
I have no clue what created that issue and unfortunately didn’t realize it. I have no working backup version so I would need to find a fix.
I’m afraid the message below might not be of great help, maybe some of you have general advices of what i can try to fix my problem.

Best,

Can you list the apps installed on your server ?
It seems one of them added the repo deadsnake, and it could be helpful to find which one and if other people with this repositpry also have this problem.

Thanks for your response.

Here is the list of apps:

  • bookstack
  • 3 times “Application web personalisé avec accès SFTP pour serveur des fichiers statiques”
  • Gitlab
  • Jupyterlab
  • Nextcloud
  • Onlyoffice
  • RoundCube
  • Wekan

To install some python modules in one of the environment that I use in JupyterLab I installed anaconda. The error might have started afterward, but I’m not so sure of when it happened as I don’t try to update more than once a month.

Within the same period I also tried but failed to install Overleaf…

I found the solution:

After sshing to my server, i removed deadsnakes…
sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:deadsnakes/ppa

Then all worked well after… I still don’t know which app installed me that, I suspect overleaf.
